Process Mapping

1 or 2 day (workshop)  / Implementation assistances available

Possibly one of the single most important improvement tools, Process Mapping allows the company to “see” exactly what is really happening (or not happening) at a macro or micro level.  Participants in this workshop will experience five different process mapping types and learn how, when and why to use each.  After completion of this course participants will understand and be able to apply these methods to problematic processes or to look at existing processes from a continuous improvement standpoint.

Course Description:

This interactive workshop is a practical, hands-on course, in which the participants will learn the skills of process mapping by actually doing it.  Participants will practice with case studies and processes from their own departments to learn to apply the tools used to construct and analyze Process Maps.  Finally, participants will learn how Process Mapping is integral to, and actually feeds, continuous improvement by illustrating the nature of existing processes and directing the types of changes needed to improve and to excel.
