Coping & Stress Management
1 day (workshop)
Today’s
workplace demands high performance. The newer, more dynamic,
team-oriented manager finally understands that this no longer means putting work
ahead of everything else. It requires flexible, creative, sustainable
performance, which can only occur when people know how to balance the urgent
demands of their work life with the equally important facets of their personal
life - without sacrificing either.
Course
Description:
This course
provides critical insight into how stress in one area of your life, impacts
other areas of your life. It examines how coping resources in one area can be
used to decrease stress in another area. Finally, it shows the relationship
between stress, coping and overall life/work satisfaction. In the workshop, we
identify coping skills, discover the individual issues that cause stress,
improve problem solving skills, build mutual support and trust, develop
flexibility in responding to change and enhance professional performance.
